Thanks for the kind words for Ozell Roberts.I played with him for OVER 20 years. I was the other half of the duet,often played with him daily.There are some things you expressed that are quite true indeed,yet others are a bit disturbing and your opinon only.
We both-Miss the hell out of him.

I recently met Mike when he sat in at my jazz bar - Legends Jazz Cafe. I was immediately impressed with his technique & bebop vocabulary. Mike has played there several times since and he's a crowd favorite. Mike truly loves playing. I always welcome & support Mike Fageros!

Hello mike,I am a very good friend of Greg Williams, played with him for years way back in flint,although i`ve never heard you play i take it for granite you must be an awesome player, i say that because to keep up with greg and his backwards beats and extremely fast tempos all night you got to ready, and he will make you play your ass off ,he`s a trip,I loved playing with him, he was my friend and mentor taught me a lot. tell him Craig (the monster bass player)fielder said hi.

Michael is a very dedicated musician I was fortunate enough to meet a few years ago. He blew the socks off of the staff of a guitar shop here in Sunny Orlando, FLA, when he sat on the floor and started testing out the guitars. It was great to see him appreciated by the staff. I always suspected, when we were playing the jams at the Pelican, that you possessed some serious jazz proclivities. Thursday night at TAACCL I got to see the artist in his element: You are a jazz monster my friend. It was fun watching you make music with the Blue Monks; they were diggin' it, you were diggin' it, but the folks in the audience were the real winners. A very special evening indeed.

Hi Mike; Sorry you missed the "Bluesette" reunion. It would have been nice to do the "Rize" thing one more time. I did get a chance to play bass with The "Uncertain Things" and "Joshua" at the show. Brought back a lot of memories of you, me (as Pete), Bruce and John Denny living together on St.Paul Street. Four guys trying to live in a studio apartment and bringing their women home was quite the adventure. Good to see you're doing alright. Life has been quite the adventure on my end.
